Each person that purchases a Beach Butterfly Set
receives two photographs in a JPEG format which are emailed to you.

Welcome To Butterfly Beach

After speaking to my dear friend Mel from Oregon USA about her precious nieces who were born at 26 weeks gestation, she told me about a special silver butterfly ring that she bought for herself and her sister. As I want to keep her story quiet so that it is kept sacred between Mel and Vicki I will not share it here, but Mel's little story lit a spark in my heart and was the inspiration of this Butterfly Beach.

Butterflies are a gift to us - the heart broken. If one happens upon you, you have to watch it. No matter where you are. They are fascinating and stunningly beautiful. I can't help but believe I am being visited by a lost loved one from above.

I like to imagine my son riding on the wing of a butterfly with Mel's little niece Laila. Together they are on a magnificent adventure of their own. They stop by to visit their families and their siblings that they have left behind.

I draw all of the butterflies at Mullaloo Point Beach in Western Australia where I have now written over 11,000 children's names in the sand. The beach is a very sacred place to me and so many others that have lost children.

Each Butterfly is drawn with much love and hope.
